Looking for cute new accessories? Check out Ginette Boutique, on Elliston Place. Jewelry, scarves, handbags, belts, sun glasses, and hats - all of these accessories can be found in Ginette's store, in addition to an excellent selection of trendy clothes. However, Ginette Stone, the owner and sole operator of the boutique, stresses that "it is all about accessorizing." According to Ms. Stone, two-thirds of her business is comprised of accessories. Every girl (and the occasional boy) knows that you can never have too many. This fabulous treasure chest is the best-kept secret in Nashville.

Ginette Boutique located in the outdoor shopping complex on Elliston Place; it is across from Rotiers, and right next to Smoothie King. Ms. Stone, a native of Belgium, has owned this particular boutique for fifteen years. Three years ago it moved from its longstanding site in the Loews Hotel by Vanderbilt, to its current location. Before opening this boutique, Ms. Stone was the manager buyer at Saks-Jandel for designers Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino. She studied fashion merchandising in Brussels before coming to the United States and has worked for some of the top fashion designers. Now, however, she is content to settle down and own her own little shop, right here in Nashville.

Customers will almost certainly meet this energetic and enthusiastic woman. Ms. Stone is eager to get to know and serve all of her boutique's patrons. When asked why she does not hire any employees to help her, Ms. Stone simply replied, "I like to work in my store…hands on. I like to know my customers; I like to know what they are looking for. That way, when I go to shows, I can purchase what they are looking for." Ms. Stone also admits that this is why it is possible for her to sell her items at such low prices. Without extra salaries to pay, she is able to mark her clothing and accessories down much lower than other shops in the area. Stylish, dangly earrings are priced as low as $5, and gorgeous necklaces and belts run in the $10-$20 range.
