It's a guarantee, the first two weeks of school will be two of the best weeks of your life. Class doesn't start for a few days and not much matters until the first round of quizzes, so here is a little advice on the top ten things you should do in your first two weeks as a 'Dore. #10: Eat at Chili's Yes, its right there and everyone is doing it. Eventually Chili's will get so old that the mere thought of the chips and salsa will provoke nightmares. But hey, it's your first two weeks; enjoy it while you can. #9: Conquer the maze that is Stevenson Center Believe it, many a student has been lost in the abyss that hosts many freshman classes. It just might be a good idea to have a look around. #8: Befriend your RA A friendly relationship with your resident advisor can go a long way. Besides, one day you just may get caught doing something that lies slightly outside of the rules; is your RA on your side? #7: Take a late night trip to Café Coco Maybe one of the best-kept secrets at school, Café Coco is a great spot for a late night rendezvous. Café Coco is student friendly, actually has great food, and it's open all night. #6: Go Downtown Nashville is a great city and the nightlife downtown is outright incredible. Burst the "Vanderbubble" before you even hear about it and check out downtown. #5: Girls, get your nails done on the Card Why? Because you can! #4: Branscomb Breakfast OK, so maybe it's not the best food, but if its around 3 a.m. and you're in the right state of mind, it's very, very good. Also, it may be one of the best ways to meet people on campus. #3: Meet Gee He's everywhere! You haven't lived until you've met Gee. Keep your head up on a Friday night, because he's been known to crash his share of frat parties. #2: Go to class Yeah, it might be a good idea. #1: Party at a frat It doesn't matter whether you're into the fraternity scene or not, in the first two weeks of school, frat parties are definitely a great time. Guys, in the first two weeks you'll be treated like a king. Girls, that's where most of the guys will be; get together and have a good time.
